Lexis School of English is an official Cambridge Exam Preparation Centre!

In these courses you learn about how the exams work, what the examiners will be looking for and you will get plenty of practice using the types of questions you will see in the exam. We will give you the guidance to enter the exam of your choice in confidence.

An exam class is not designed to simply improve your English ability, but rather it teaches you how to get the best possible score in the exam, which means using your language skills fast.

Classes
You can choose to study as little or as much as you want at a time and place convenient to you. The online classes provide a real-life lesson experience. We are currently running classes at all levels, from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced, 6 hours a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We combine General English and Cambridge English Exam Preparation Classes and specialise in small groups and private one-to-one classes.

Zoom

We are delivering classes via Zoom which has advanced capabilities and is the perfect platform for online learning. There is an interactive whiteboard, document sharing, online messenger and video chat, to allow students to have a completely interactive lesson with a Lexis teacher in real-time. Our teachers are fully qualified, native English speakers and are London based. They are experienced in teaching online with Cambridge recognised EFL qualifications at all levels; including postgraduate Masters and even PhD doctorate qualifications.

You will need:

• A computer, large tablet or smartphone with a broadband connection of 10mbs or more
• We recommend the use of headphones as they cancel the surrounding noise
• A webcam, if your computer does not have  a camera
